Organised by Rally UK and Thrapston & Raunds Rotary Club.

Lysander Park Rally

It will be held at Lysander Park, Sawbridgeworth, Herts. We were last there in 2008 and there will be other fields not previously available.
We will have 600 acres of cultivated land. It is in Rape at the moment that will come off mid July & cultivated at the same time, which means the conditions will be great for the August Bank Holiday
We intend to hire a large Marquee, and have Live! entertainment on Saturday Night. We will of course still have the huge Raffle also on the Saturday Night. Catering will be changed from the present, to a variety of vendors offering different cuisine
Numbers will also be limited to 300, and will be pre-booked only, NO pay on the day. This year we will be stricter on the Transferring & Selling of these tickets, it clearly states that they are NON TRANSFERRABLE - NON REFUNDABLE, anybody wanting to transfer or sell or buy from any other source other than from us directly, must contact myself before making any transactions....This is for Insurance purposes!
We will start to take Bookings very soon, so keep an eye on here we don't want anybody to miss out.

This events diary is to inform fellow hobbists what is on, one persons idea of a good day out is not the same as anothers and FID will advertise all metal detecting events that we are notified of, this is a free service and does not indicate how well or indeed badly organised any individual event may be on the day! Colin Hanson and other members of the FID committee will try to attend as many rallies and events as where they hope to meet old and new friends by the FID flag.
